Yes. Ross Brawn always has good strategies. He's a very valueable asset to the team. Letting him go to another team is definitely a big mistake. Without him this year Ferrari have not been the best that they could've been.

Well Ferrari did win the drivers and constructors title without him, although some of the success must have come from work done by Brawn previously. Next season will tell.
If Brawn does go to Honda that`s great news for the team, undoubtably the car has been rubbish Button and Barichello are both good drivers. I think Brawn just fancied a new challenge.

Brawn has been a key figure in Ferrari's recent success, but they have a lot of talented people in their team, they're just not as well known as Brawn. He is for sure a very talented manager and strategist, so it better to have him in your team than not.
I guess Brawn wanted a new challenge, by choosing Honda he certainly has one. But I expect him to make a big difference where others haven't. He will be pushing those designers non stop to produce an effective car. However, it wont happen overnight.
So much for the rumours of him going to Redbull lol

Ferrari won the tile without Ross, whats more, Michael, the guy who brought 5 titles to Ferrari, wasn't driving either. That shows how capable the team is without Ross.
Ross had his own demands, if he wants to come back to Ferrari, they would accept him but if he wants to demand this and that, Ferrari shouldn't make all the changes just so they can get him back to the team. They don't need him.
as great of a strategist as Ross is, he's no miracle. His success at Ferrari is because theres a great team, and a great driver. None of which Honda have. He alone will not be able to make honda a winning team.

Yes because the one person the stewards and the FIA don't dare to screw is Ross. This is as simple as I can put it: Ross has got the balls where Jean doesn't. Let's take what happened in Fuji for example. If it was Ross there, he would have made the stewards give the two Ferrari blue flags so that they can overtake and reclaim their spots after the pit stop. If the stewards said no, then he probably would have pulled Massa and Kimi in and well, a lot of Ferrari fans would be outraged and tune out. Imagine the ratings and revenues. So Bernie would scream his head off so that the Ferrari's would be put back where they requested to be. The magic of Ross Brawn.

I hope honda realise how fortunate they are having ross on their team, and i hope they don't ruin another year with their gay saving the planet crap. They should start making proper cars that don't explode everytime they try to reach 19000rpm and get rid of that awful livery. If anyone can turn the fortunes of a team around, it's a man like Brawn. I hope he gets all the support he deserves on that team to do what he does best.
He obviously thinks that ferrari are a good enough team without him but I think that the spy scandal had a little something to do with it. After all, it was is protege that got caught...

In a way it a mistake. They let him go this year and look how hard it was for them. But Ross Brawn did want the team principal position and not technical director position. This would mean that they would have to either demote or release Jean Todt. Ross Brawn should have come back as technical director and wait in the wings till Jean Todt leaves.

i would say brawn has gone as far as he can go with Ferrari. he obviously wasn't happy because he took a sabbatical for a year. i think it will be good for Honda, lets face it after a promising start they have basically come nowhere after what 4 or 5 years is it now? with button constantly making excuses or slagging the team off for being useless.
hopefully it will give the team a boost to start competing with the big boys and obviously brawn a challenge.

Its Brawn's way, i think 10 years of the machinations and politicking at the Scuderia would be enough for the bravest of men. He's an astute and cerebral guy so for him to go to the challenge of Honda instead of the comfort of Ferrari says it all.
I wish him luck, i'm sure Honda is becoming a little more palatable to Button!

Perhaps Ross is the missing ingredient that Honda needs to get back in the game. It is certainly Ferrari's loss.
