I think the Knicks, at best, are an average or slightly above average team in the Eastern Conference. They really can't beat teams like Boston, Orlando, Detroit or Cleveland anyway. Against lesser teams, they have a chance. It looks like that their most indispensable player is Zach Randolph -- without him, they really struggle. Curry is overrated, and Marbury is horrible in the last five minutes of most close games. Richardson is always hurt, Lee provides little offense, and Crawford is about as streaky a player as there is in the league.
If: 1. everyone stays healthy (I'm already assuming Richardson misses alot of games), 2. Marbury can play better in the last five minutes, 3. Crawford can be fairly consistent, and 4. Randolph and Curry can effectively play together in the low post, then the Knicks have a chance to make the play-offs as a low seed, and might pose a threat to upset a team like Cleveland. Otherwise, they're in for another long frustrating season.

The Knicks still have too many shoot first guards plus the black hole that is Eddy Curry plus Isiah Thomas as coach..plus another black hole that is Zach Randolph
Is this even a question?

i think so...
i think, as long as they don't change their point, their game will be the same... the point guard spot plays a big role on the team and his play affects his teammate's play... no offense to Marbury, i think he's just on the wrong team.... OR! thomas is just not coaching to his players' game... the team needs a pass first point guard with randoph and curry inside... they need people who will feed their bigmen and not looking to shoot first... ok?

nahh,i hope not.but that was bad court management buy. marbury, and the definitely missed Randolph.now i see why they like to have Crawford handle the ball late in the games.
