my english is not very good and i want to learn i will be greatful if someone could help me...i have heard words like lets contribute or chip in..what is the exact word for it??

Most people would say "Split the bill". Let's contribute or chip in are usually used when people are all putting in some cash towards the bill, which will be paid for by one person at the counter. Splitting the bill is used when you ask the waiter to bring two or more separate bills to pay for the meal individually.

"Going dutch is slang for this idea, especially in USA. 'paying separately' is the opposite of paying all together here in Australia.
