I have a 10 year old niece and I want to give her some games to play, she likes rpgs and fighting games.

I would suggest WOW online.... granted, it has a monthly payment, but it should keep her challenged, and most girls don't really get addicted to it like guys do.
If she wanted to avoid monthly payment try guild wars.

If she owns a PS2 and enjoys RPGs, I highly recommend Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. They are both fun action RPGs with lots of Disney characters. Both games are great, she'll love them.
