If this war on illegal drugs was ended by making these drugs legal, the terrorists in the middle east and drug cartels world-wide would loose their funding. Two or three years after this occurs the US government would have a huge surplus of money and the crime rate will drop drastically.

But hold on, that means if i read that article right, if the local cops catch you they can do nothing but if there is say a US marshal are FBI agent on the scene you could be in deep do do. I understand from my little knowledge of US law. i thought the supreme court made a ruling that Federal law supersedes city, county and state laws. i would for one not go yippee just now, seems what you have to get done is the federal law changed really not city county are state laws. as you are still breaking federal laws but may not be breaking city county are state law but that is not the highest level of law enforcement in the USA
