I always leave mine on for a couple more days after the Service - nothing to do with outward show, merely a day each for two of my school friends who were killed in the bombing raids on Liverpool.

take it off. I only wore mine for a few days too. Couldn't understand why we saw newsreaders and reporters wearing them at the end of October. If people are keen to show their solidarity, they should consider helping out the poppy appeal by visiting their website, which lists ways of helping the charity.

I went to a Remembrance service on Saturday, my daughter was singing in the choir. It was quite sad. They were announcing each different squadron or unit and only two old men would walk in. It is so sad that soon all these men will be gone, I wish people would understand more exactly what they went through for us.

I went to the parade thing, yesterday and forgot mine. How sad, LOL! I would take it off. I did my bit yesterday, went church, sang and took part in freezing cold weather. I enjoyed it. It was worth it for what they did for us and for what they are doing for us today!
