if the question is whether or not i am a good daughter, my answer would be 'i don't know'. since i think my parents would have to judge me on that. But, i can honestly say that I try to be a good daughter. i hate to disappoint my parents and let them down. I know my parents very well that I know their hearts are pure Gold or even a river of love. I feel bad when i don't think i am being a good daughter. But I try with my best abilities to be a daughter whom they can be proud of. i really do ! My parents trust me a lot too. I guess I would never let them down. I am willing to make any kind of sacrifice to make my parents happy. I always do them with an open heart. More over I always thank God 4 giving me such 1derful parents. I always pray 4 them. I guess it is one of the few ways to return the love and care they have given me. I am obedient 4 the most part. But I guess my parents always listens to my side of the story too. They know that I won't make bad decisions in life and if I feel like i am making one, i always change myself because nothing is more important to me than fulfilling my parents dream 4 me. So my answer is that I try to be a good daughter !

Well I like to think that I'm a good child. I call my parents every day and I make sure to go nad visit them at least 4 times a week to see the grandkids. And I try and help them out by cleaning their house and taking them dinner

I starred this Q because it makes you think as a parent ... and a child. I was a good child in my mother's eyes because I was always honest and she was my best friend. But looking upon myself as a child I was so ungrateful for all she had done for me that I am sickened now as an adult child and a parent at how I took my mother for granted. My own children have gave me only a small taste of my own ingrattitude but have somehow miraculously evolved into truly grateful young women who look upon me as their best friend and have more than made up for any transgressions I may have felt when they were growing up. I was a very naughty and hyper active child,as a youngster,I have my own decision,I take what advice is applicable to me.I took care of them financially on their old age until they passed away. My parents are illiterate,they only know how to read and write,but they instilled dignity ,hard work,integrity,high morals and honesty. I am glad I was well brought up.

I even didn't like to answer this question, as this question really hurts me. This question reminded me of all the bad memories i have gone through and i am going through.

I really dont know what kind of a child i was or i am. But i can say it with guarantee that i was a very goooooood daughter to my mom. I loved my mom to the last limit, but now she's no more with me.

Yes, my parents never took care of me. My mom was the only person who used to look after me, but when she's gone, my dad and step mom never bothered for my future.

They never did counseling, nor did they helped me in any of my situations and problems, instead gave me such harsh statements which almost ruined my life.

But now i have got a very carefree attitude. Now my attitude is like i dont care. I am what i am. If they want to love me, they can love me. But if they want to hate me, then they can do hate me, as now I DONT CAREEEE.........tc...sweet dreamz...bye...

I am the perfect child! -^w^- Ok I am really lazy but I get good grades and that's what counts! ^^ I am obedient but only because I fear them. They have all the power until I'm 18!! How I long for the years to pass!

I am carer for my father who is 94. He was not a kind parent and I had a very unhappy childhood, but he has some sort of behavioral disorder, possibly Aspergers, so I guess he couldn't help it.
He refuses to go into care so I am trapped into caring for him, have had to give up work and am now on a very low income but s#it happens I guess.

I took care of my Mother. She passed in 99 of lukemia. I stayed with her for 3 months at the cancer hospital and never left her alone for a minute. My husband left because of my commitment to my Mother. I did the right thing! I choose my Mother over my husband. He should never have made me choose. We had a good marriage but he did not want me to take care of my Mother as it interferred with his life. Now he has his life but no wife! And I know I did the right thing!!!
