Hey, Im getting guild wars but im not sure which one I should get or what each is about. Please help me decide (Assuming all others besides "Guild Wars" are expansions.

1.) Platinum (Guild Wars + Eye of the North)

2.) Guild wars + Nightfall

3.) Guild wars + Factions

4.) Just Guild wars.

I'm an Ex-Wow player just looking for a game to keep myself entertained over the next few months and this seems good, plus being free seems even better (Free to play)

Thanks,
Matt

Thanks, but what's different in each one?

I agree with Tyler. Just get 1 to try. If you enjoy it you'll want to buy all 4 games though. If you think now that you will enjoy this game, go ahead and buy the Platinum edition since you'll save money in the long run.

Prophecies - The original game. Longest storyline. European Medevial feel to it.

Factions - Shortest storyline. Asian decor. More PvP options. 2 additional professions, Assassin and Ritualist.

Nightfall - Middle Eastern/African location. Ability to acquire Heroes. (Customizable NPC characters that will accompany you). 2 additional professions, Dervish and Paragon.

Eye of the North - Expansion. New storyline. Explorable Dungeons. New heroes.

Each game has it's own set of skills as well. You'll get a lot more out of the game if you own all 4, but don't rush out and spend a lot of money for all the campaigns until you're sure you like the game.

guild wars, guild wars factions, and guild wars nightfall are all standalone games.

I would suggest getting just guild wars to start out and see if you like it, or using a trial card you can get at most game stores for like 1-2$

Start with just Guild Wars, but if really, DDO is so much better.
