I actually live in a Historic State Park where they used to mine for gold during the gold rush so there is a probability of finding something if you were to dig in my back yard. We have found a few things..(really old nails, an iron cast figurine, old bottles) but we have to turn them into the State if we come across anything.. who knows what we would find if we really started digging.

I would find the bones of my dog, first treasure I've ever had.
If tears could build a stairway
and memories were a lane
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.

seems such as you should spend some greater time including your dogs. There are 3 significant motives that a dogs digs. a million)to flee 2)to relax off in the airborne dirt and dirt or 3)Out of boredom. Play including your dogs greater. Take him for walks. Play fetch. only run around with him. in case you burn off a number of his pent up capacity you will see that the digging will subside. good success.
