FUUUUCK. Earlier this evening I slipped and fell.
Right outside my apt.*on the top floor. I was walking down the stairs and Slipped. I fell on my butt. I didnt think it was anything at the moment and just felt kinda embarrassed. I am 18 years old. My lil 14 year old punk neighbor kid was like "AY you alright" (Ay's/Adrian's my name) Anyways, I really dont like him
or his two younger brothers for being loud, and disrespectful
towards adults, but I am and used to be that way. Anyways,
People are always fighting with his parents and His parents
are ALWAYS complaining about things and always threaton
to sue the Landlord for Airconditioning, etc. Anyways, The Kid said "The Owner can be sued for painting the stairs"
I kept thiking about it, and well, I don't wanna sue the Landlord cuz hes kinda cool even hes a Cheap Mexican Jew...lol
NO DISS. but my ... "RADIAL BONE(looked online)" on my arm hurts. I dont like legal action
and I'd like to call the city and bust his bitccchass.

No, it is not illegal to paint the stairs. Painting is considered a part of a house building aesthetics. It makes a building look better.

However, every builder and contractor knows that there are different paints for stairs that withstand heavy traffic and might be hazardous when wet.

Write the incident. Take pictures of the stairs, ask the landlord what type of paint he used. Give him a copy of the incident report.
==================================
A report is an informal documentation of an event.
It must have the exact date, exact location, exact time, and a full complete narration of what happened from beginning to end.
At the end, you can write your opinion of what caused the problem, and the most important is How to fix it so it will not happen to anybody else. This is your recommendation.
Name the doctor you visited, another tenant you talked about the incident, a witness who saw you fall. Dont skip the details.
Mention the type of soles on the shoes you were wearing because that makes a difference on whether your shoes made you slip or the surface of the floor made you slip.
Lastly say something about not being impaired (as in drunk) or running etc. You were just walking normally using very good shoes with high quality treads. This is where a reliable witness will be useful.

Documented incidents have a good reason to be filed. It will identify problems that need to be solved. If it shows that yours is an isolated case, then it is only an isolated case. However, when it happens to different people every day or week, then a problem becomes apparent.

You can only sue for damages and pain/suffering. However, without any substantial damages, no one will consider your pain sufficient enough to award damages. In other words, if it really isn't broke, then they will call you a big, clumsy sissy for whining about a little pain. So, it if hurts enough tonight or tomorrow, then you should consider getting x-rays to see if you have a fracture. If you don't have a fracture, then your doctor visit will be on your money. If you do, then you may have a case to be compensated for your medical bills.

BTW, you don't have a radial bone, it is called the radius. The term "radial" would normally be used in describing the end of the bone where it enters the elbow, such as a radial head fracture.

Did you get hurt bad enough to need to see a doctor? If not, a lawsuit is just a waste of everyone's time.
