I often cleaning the burner fittings, but the flame remains blue and yellow. How to correct this problem.?

adjust the ratio of gas to air. There is not enough air and the burn is not complete. There should be an air inlet that can be adjusted with a set screw. Consult your gas supplier or appliance repair if you feel this is uncomfortable to perform.

This has nothing to do with water in the line. It's the air/gas ratio, you'll find the adjustment just under the valve, a screw, turn this slowly until the flame brightens.
