All the lies I've been told
have led me to this truth
but what am I believing
I know not what the future holds
All the lies I've been told
have lead me to see
that the ONLY truth
I can believe in
is ME

The truth is life is a challenge but worth the fight to enjoy all it has to offer.

What led me to that truth is having 6 children around to open my eyes to their challenges and winning the battles with them and enjoying the harvest that follows.

My disappointment, judgment (self and other), analytical thought, science, and discernment of certain things I've seen. Some of it isn't true and tends to sligthly alter every once in awhile, but it's part of how I've coped. Not having a dad around and constantly ditching me taught me to not expect too much and that some people are just irresponsible, and you can't change them.
