Of course they have a chance. I doubt they'll win, but they certainly have a chance.

Green Bay went into Arrowhead, the Metrodome, the Meadowlands, and Mile High none of those are easy places to go and play. Dallas hasn't went into any more hostile environments than the Pack. In fact there aren't many places in the NFL that are too inviting for guests, but I digress. The teams match up pretty well and in fact Green Bay has significant offensive advantages over Dallas. How are the Cowboys going to cover all of the recievers the Packers have? Today Favre threw for 351 yards and the top reciever had just 63 of them. They have 5 reliable recievers in Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Koren Robinson, and Ruvel Martin plus they have Donald Lee an excellent recieving tight end. Ryan Grant is really coming along as a consistant presence on the ground as well giving them enough balance that teams can't always drop 6 or 7 in coverage. The Oline is solid as well particularly against the pass rush. The key to the game will be Al Harris against TO and it isn't often that we get to see a dogfight all game with two excellent players like that. If Al shuts him down pretty well then the front seven can easily dominate the line of scrimmage stopping up the run and rushing the passer and forcing bad passes. They have the best defensive line in the NFC at least and probably in the NFL. The linebackers do their job well enough against the run, but Witten and Fasano will probably get open since Poppinga and the SS Bigby aren't great in man coverage. I think Dallas will score on them but not run roughshod, because Green Bay has the best defense in the NFC.

LOL more hostile enviornments? " GB has played against bad quarterbacks" Look who the Cowboys have played: The Bills, The Rams, The Dolphins, The Vikings, what kool aid are you sipping man.

The thing that makes Green Bay as good and even better: Their defense. I know your a homer for the Boys and that's fine, but if you watched all of their games closely, youll notice that if Romo doesn't have the running game going or he gets rattled, he makes mistakes badly ( i.e. The Patriots game, Bills game, Vikings game) and Green Bay's defense is great at run stuffing and ask you to find a better CB tandem then Woodson and Harris.

The other reason is Brett Favre. Sure Dallas has more firepower than Green Bay, but Favre, unlike Romo, can drop back on any down with pressure in his face and make the throws. We see it time and time again; he calls an audible, moves around in the pocket, or scrambles away from pressure and makes a completion.

Now one last side note: We know Dallas is a pressure happy defense, but Green Bay has seen it all year against New York, Philly, San Diego, Washington, Kansas City, all pressure happy defenses, and how many sacks have they given up? 13 in 354 pass attempts.

Of course I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan and have been for the past 37 years. I started watching them when I was about 5 and old enough to at least ask questions about it. I'm pretty sure the Cowboys will defeat Green Bay. Troy Aikman and that other fella even said that today after the game. The Dallas Cowboys have found out that physical conditioning is the way to win. Their endurance is so strong that they actually do wear down all these other teams. They physically just wear them down aand down and down. That's why that always do great in the second half. The other teams have lot's of energy and really give it hell in the first half but by the 3rd quarter they're ready to get back on the bus.

Anything is possible, but I doubt it.
This week proves it more than any other. Coming into this week we were all told about the great front of the NY defense. That Romo will sacked, hurried and forced into mistakes. I'm sorry, but who was sacked 5 times and rushed all night? What nobody is talking about until halfway through games is how the O-line is performing. I rate NY defense equal to or better than GB's so the offense will move the ball and score. It will be a case of the apprentice whipping the old master into submission in regards to the QB situation as Romo will have the time Favre will not. It will catch up with GB when the lack of a running game finally hits them (One game against the leagues worst rushing defense isn't a rushing attack).

What's with this numbers thing? Green Bay beats Minnesota 34-0. Minnesota beats the Bears in Chicago. What does it mean? Not much. The only two really good teams in the NFL are the Pats and Indy, maybe Pittsburgh. Cowboys are as good as they are bad, and so are the Packers. Sure, Green Bay can win in Dallas. Why not?

Green Bay absolutely has a chance against Dallas... though I suspect the Cowboys to be a slight favorite in this matchup. The two teams are the class of the NFC right now.

I accept as true with each and every thing you mentioned, protection looks sturdy and the backs look dazzling, Romo merely looks to crumble previous due interior the season.....kinda like Brett Favre. i think of that obtaining rid of T.O. helped the "Boys" out alot interior the locker room that could translate to greater effective play on the sector. IF Romo could have a continuing year i seek for the Cowboys to have an 11-5 checklist. dropping to the Atlanta (wk7), Eagles (wk9), Giants (wk13), San Diego (wk14). + or - a game. Washington would be tricky additionally in week sixteen. Alot rides on Romo and if the coaches are going to run the ball slightly greater this year (which they ought to).

Being a Green bay fan born and raised and having a boyfriend who is a Colts fan who is heavily minto fantasy football.... We have discussed it and he said that green bay has an outstanding team that out performs dalas by 5-8 points and also has a killer defense to stop the run and the pass game and seeing as though Favre has somehow discovered the fountain of youth with his players not with him but with his new recievers etc........... The cowboys will probably find themselves in a loosing situation with the packers like the colts did with the pats........ Hope this helped.....

The Cowgirls don't have a chance against one of the toughest D's ever. Barber and Jones will face one of the biggest run stuffing D's they have faced up to this point. Also with shutdown corners on both sides of the field the only chance Dallas has is a game of field goals.

first you say Favre was washed up.
then you say the Pack can't win without a running game.
then you say you'll win the super bowl without trouble, but the NFC conference is so much better this year.
then you say the Packers havne't beaten anyone.
now you say the Pack has no chance to beat the Cowboys.

how dumb are you?

keep denying the Pack, i dare you.
