I took one and it came back positive. Was just wondering if this could be wrong and what could be causing it?

No, if it was positive then you are pregnant. Congrats!

No. You can get a negative result and it could be wrong but there is nothing in your body that would make a positive result when you arent pregnant. Your pregnant.

I have a friend who tested positive and went to the doctor and they told her that it was negative. It happens sometimes and don't know why. I have only ever had 2 positives, and my daughter is 5 and I am due today.

The test measures a pregnancy hormone in your urine or bloodstream that is not present in someone that is not pregnant. I tested five times with this pregnancy because I was pretty shocked by it. Maybe you should do another test to confirm your results and convince yourself.

The ONLY way you can get a positive result and NOT be pregnant, is IF you RECENTLY had a miscarriage....
However..you probably are pregnant....
Good Luck

Nope, congratulations you are pregnant. A pregnancy test measures a hormone that only a pregnant woman makes.

Usually, the result is right! Could be reconfirmed, after a short interval of time!
