Okay, so I was cleaning off some dust when my H key fell off. Obviously, I can still use it, but it is not snapped into place properly. This has happened before with different keys, but when I try to push it down, it either stays down or one end comes up. When I try to level it, it comes off.

Ideas?

Thanks in advance to all who can help!

there is a piece of curved plastic or else a pair of plastic splints that form an X. that is what makes a key in the keyboard spring in to position but not fly off the board.

if it has broken or lost then you will never have that proper feel to the key anymore.

if its still there, but not properly fitted to the board and key, then you can adjust it and snap it back in place. but if broken, then nothing can be done but to replace it. if you dont have a similar keyboard, you might use the splint from a less used key on the keyboard. you might end up having 2 faulty keys! but at least then youd have a good excuse to buy a new board.

personally, i'd just get a new keyboard even if its just one faulty key. i play games, so response of critical keys is important to me.

I feel,... Is14x gave you the right answer, it does sound like the key is broken.
