Bottom line: UCSD is for studiers, and SDSU is for partiers. BUT, if you are a studier and go to SDSU, you can slip under the radar and graduate in a very short amount of time (at very low cost) because almost everyone else is wandering around aimless and clueless about what classes to take, and they let you take as many classes per semester as you want because the typical SDSU student takes no more than 2 or 3. Also, SDSU seems to have tons more school spirit. Gotta love it :)

Both good schools. If you are more interested in clinical I would got to SDSU; if more interested in experimental you'd have more resources at UCSD. If you have concerns about getting into graduate school both would be good preparation but UCSD more prestigious.

Of course, UCSD will leave you deeper in debt too, which is a consideration.
