I know, Norv Turner is the biggest mistake in Charger history to me, maybe I'm exaggerating a little but thats how much I dislike him.... LT is not making big plays because he's not running to the outsides and River can't throw

Sounds like a good theory..just send him outside all the time.

But did you ever think that he gains more yards on the outside because of the 5 or 6 carries he had running straight before that..

If he runs outside all the time, the defense will adjust.

But I understand your frustration. Every time I see one of my teams go for it on fourth down when they need a yard..and they hand off to the RB that started 7 yards deep and takes it right up the middle...well, I always wonder why they don't run outside. To me, it just seems that 100% of the time, you have a better shot at getting a yard or two, by running outside, as opposed to running into a wall straight ahead.

But I am sure there is a reason that I am here on Yahoo Answers and Norv Turner is the head Coach of the Chargers!

i totally agree with you. the answer is norv. he isnt a very good decision maker. also unlike last year, the chargers line does not play as physically, allowing LT to run through the middle. norv is a crappy coach because he expects every charger to play like a professional..

For anyone has not noticed, Norv Turner is Kryptonite to what ever team he coaches for. Hes descent up in the booth as a coordinator, but if you get him on the field its all over.

I'm wondering the same thing. Putting LT through the middle is stupid; let him run around the sides and past the secondary and then everything should be fine.

I ask the same question? The only thing that I know, they won today, that was a awesome game. I share with you this site. It already has the complete 2007 - 2008 NFL schedule. It's printable and free.

Well if their defence plays like they did against the Colts I don't think it will matter
