What is Katherine Mayfair hiding about her past and why Dylan can remember anything? I'm not sure if it was stated in the earlier seasons, I just recently got into watching the show this season so I have no idea.

We don't know what she is hiding yet. She has lied many times. The first lie was to her daughter Dylan saying that her father use to beat Katherine and that is why she doesn't want her daughter around him. Another lie she told was at Susan's party where Gabby confronted her about it. Katherine said that Dylan's dad use to do the "worst things" to a little girl (leaving it up to the imagination).
She is new to this season so you haven't missed anything yet on her. Ohhh...the gay neighbors across the street know what she has done because they know someone who knows what she did back when she lived in Chicago. But overall the show hasn't said anything yet about it so you are just as in the dark as the rest of us.

Okay here is my theory . I think that Katherine and Adam stole this baby girl they are now passing off as dylan . I think the man she seems to remember climbing in the window is adam . and that is why they had to leave town so fast last time . also in chicago I think the secret is that adam must have killed a patient and the hospital settled and he was asked to resign . As for last night she was quite the actress was 'nt she ? she played her daughter for a fool . I hope i helped good luck and god bless.

ahh i just read that but you would be watching season 4 and im in australia!!! i want to watch it so bad!!! they weren't in seasons 1, 2, or 3.

idk...but her storyline is reminding me a lot of last season's blunder w/ the applewhites...time to move on...NEXT!!!
