Yes. I know many girls who had started their periods at the age of 9 or 10. So 11 is too old.

I don't think it's too old as long as you're not sleeping in the same bed every night. Once and a while is okay I guess, but every night is slightly weird, but it depends what type of relationship you have with your dad. If you're both comfortable with it, it's fine as long as nothing bad is going on. I just wouldn't tell anyone, it's old enough that you'd be made fun of at school, etc.

Its never too old for a child to sleep with a parent.

This is not something perverted or weird, there's been so many nights (and mornings) that you'll have crawled into bed with one or both because you were scared, or lonely, or cold.

Maybe your dad might find it 'uncomfortable' when you get a bit older, he'll want to hug his little girl but find she's a young woman and feel that she might not like it anymore.
Reassure him that however old you are you'll always be his daughter, and need his love and hugs.

If you're both comfortable with it I don't see why not. I went camping and ended up sleeping between my parents cuz my tent ripped...I was like 15 or 16! Different circumstances I guess. It wasn't weird...just a little cramped. I HAD to make a joke about them keeping their clothes on tho. Same thing happened on vacation. We got screwed over on our hotel and I slept with my dad one night and my mom the next. It's a little unconventional but I don't think it was inappropriate or anything.

I know a boy who's fourteen who sleeps with his mum. I'd watch it because apparently the social services can get involved if this goes on too long. I personally find the fourteen year disgusting but personal opinion. I find it too old but whatever you want to do you'll do. By that age though, I wanted my own space and to grow up but again, personal opinion.

She sounds quite old to be slumbering together with her Dad. possibly her father and mom sharing her care makes her experience insecure and he or she feels greater safeguard being close to to him. and you're possibly precise - she is possibly quite jealous of the toddler. the nice and cozy button is that it's not particularly trouble-free to you that this is going on - and is this particularly going to be proper whilst she's 13... sixteen?? i think of he desires to have an prolonged heart-to-heart communicate together with her (no longer at bedtime, yet for the duration of the day) with regard to the placement and how she is going to ought to start slumbering in her own mattress. possibly he can advantages her for doing it 5 circumstances in a row or something with a chart and a few celeb stickers on the refrigerator - despite the fact that if the advantages is in elementary terms a father-daughter ice cream out at Dairy Queen.

I have two girls, one two and one four. I wouldn't want them to sleep with me all the time when they are 11. However, depend on the occassion, sometimes it is OK. For example, if you are at a family camp, it is perfectly fine to sleep together.

what reason could there possible be not to sleep with a parent at the age of 11? If both the parent and the child are comfortable with it, then it can only be OK.
