"In My Life" but "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) is a great song too. The Beatles are the greatest band ever and always will be.

Impossible to choose. Those are basically my favroite two Beatles songs. I guess I'll say "In My Life" though, it's one of the best pop songs ever recorded, and really has a great retrospective reminiscent feel to it. It seems like a really deep song, and it can be quite moving at times, whereas "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" is just fun to listen to because it's a great song, which is usually my thing but I get emotional at night I guess.

I think it depends. "In My Life", John showed he had a soft and sentimental side to him. He normally was known for his sarcastic wit but this song showed there was more to him than that. Now, with "Norwegian Wood", supposedly the title refers to a style of furniture that was popular in Britain at the time but a lot of people have re-interpreted it as meaning "knowing she would". John himself has said that the song was about an affair he had and to finish it off, one of the other Beatles suggested he end it with setting the young woman's apartment on fire.

I always thought Norwegian wood was a drug reference-hashish. But I think I would pick In My Life a little over Norwegain Wood. John was my favorite Beatle although I love them all!

this music replaced into written by ability of John approximately an affair he had with a woman.(I as quickly as had a woman, or could i say ,she as quickly as had me) Norwegian timber replaced right into a pair of timber panelling that replaced into in accepted use on the time (She confirmed me her room, isn't it sturdy?,Norwegian timber) and the tip of the affair (so i lit a fire , isn't it sturdy?, Norwegian timber) the 1st use of a sitar on a favored music, i think. continuously invokes many recommendations as quickly as I hear that music. i could could pay attention to it now!!!!!! p.s. who's the fool who's giving each answer in this question a thumb down? all the solutions are beneficial and don't deserve it. some human beings might desire to get a existence

definitely Norwegian Wood

that was the first Beatles song I heard and was like "WHOA! the Beatles have other songs besides "She Loves You" and "Please Please Me"? no way!" and that opened up a whole new can of worms for me.

The guitar part is beautiful, and with the sitar it's just plain masterful.
