i love helping cook and being around family.

My favorite memory of thanksgiving was with a guy not getting into that but it was great.

And i wrote a card about all the things im thankful for and i gave it to my mom and my grandma

i love being around the family and having a good time
and the best memory would probably have to be when my uncle got so drunk one year that when they went to get in the car and leave, he grabbed my dad's keys instead of his and thought that his car keys unlocked both my dad's car and his, until we went back in and found his keys on the counter lol

To have the people you care about be there to share a bounty of food, prepared with love. To invite people that don't have family, to share in the joy of thanksgiving, to let them enjoy the love a family shares.
All my thanksgivings are great, except one. The oven stopped working and didn't have a way to cook the turkey. We fired up the wood burning stove and tried to cook it on that, but it took too long. so we ate everything but turkey that day. We where all thankful that we had food to warm us, even though there wasn't any turkey.

Being with family of course...and snacking all day long. My fav memory of Thanksgiving is when my grandma was still alive. She used to make the best mashed potatoes and she would always call me in to taste them first. I miss that.
