Can anyone out there recommend any good books for learning more about the history of Sumerian Paganism? I'm just interested in learning about the mythology, gods, etc.

The best book I have seen is "Gods, Demons and Symbols of Ancient Mesopotamia" by Jeremy Black and Anthony Green. I highly recommend it. It covers both the Sumerian and Babylonian forms of the various myths and names, and includes many illustrations.
