Also, will Brady break Peyton's record?

They should clinch home field advantage in a couple of weeks, after that they don't need to play that hard.

What do you think?

Really, lets look at that. I figure that with 12 or 13 wins, you have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs. So, now you can go try to break meaningless records, and hurt every player you have, Or you can bring in the practice squad, lose 1 or 2 meaningless games, And be ready for a Super bowl run. What do you really think?

There is no doubt about it they will not bench their best guys. What are you people thinking? Do you really think that Belichick will not want to boast a perfect season?

He wants put a hundred points on a team so why would he take a loss? Everyone has seen that the Pats secondary is sorry and they can't win a game if their lives depended on it. They spent so much money on their starters that if they had to rely on the second string they would go down without a fight.

Belichick will not let his team lose and even after he clinches he will keep Brady, Moss, and the rest of the O line in the game in the final games.

As for the record, there are still a few games left that I think Brady will put soe points up. We will see though. It is still too soon to tell. Teams will start playing better and they are watching the Pats games and trying to get ready for them whenever they go into new England or NE comes to town. So Brady will start putting less points on the board.

But we will see after the next few games. But they will still play hard after they clinch, no doubt about it.

First of all there are still too many games, and the Patriots only have a two game lead to be saying that they'll wrap up home field advantage in a couple of weeks. I am sure the Patriots will work hard to not slack in the slightest until that is officially wrapped up, and they won't slack up then either.

I don't think there is a doubt that Brady will be the record holder after this season is over. He is throwing touchdowns all over the place.

I think the Pats will try to loose a couple in a row just to try to keep up to the Colts. They are, the Colts, after all, the team. But will the Pats try not to win? What are you asking? They are pros. They play at a level that isn't found anywhere else in the NFL right now. Do you expect realistically they would do less?

no and yes

they wont go undefeated due to the fact that when they clinch, half of the team will sit the last 3 or so games.....

brady will break mannings record, it seems to be the only reason he's playing this year

Heck Yea - - - Brady is committed to Perfection he will not rest until he gets / sets a personal bestand not just for Brady, but for the Patriots and for the team owners, the Krafts. And after witnessing the Colts vs the Chargers debacle I am certain Brady will set many more records...

(But he'll have a hard time marching Farve .// 11/11/2007 versus Vikings was true greatness)

Peace........................pppffffffffffffffffftttttttttttttzzzzzzzzzzzzz

doesnt every team try? the real question for any real football fan is, will they rest their players and especially moss, in the later weeks and even then will anyone be able to stop them. idk but they have a good chance. and in all fairness, they would be the first team in modern history(with the 19 total games including the super bowl) to be undefeated. but even if they do is it such a shocker?

Brady will bet Manning's record not doubt about it. As far as the 19-0 record that all depends on if Belichick wants to or if he wants to rest his guys. He's the genius let him decide.
