Please explain how to do this simultaneous equation (the steps involved), I know the answer, i just need to know how to do it.

y=4x-3
y=4-3x

ya ya i know it looks simple and it probably is :p

Thank you so much, wow I feel stupid haha, I can't believe I didn't see it that way. I probably would have been stuck on that forever anyway if you didn't tell me and I have an exam in 3 days. well now I know thanks so much again.

y = 4x-3 --- Equation 1
y = 4-3x --- Equation 2

Equation 1 = Equation 2,
therefore,
4x-3 = 4-3x
4x-3 -4x = 4-3x-4x
-3 = 4-7x
4-7x = -3
4-7x -4 = -3-4
-7x = -7
-7x/(-7) = -7/(-7)
x = 1

Since x=1,
y = 4-3x
= 4- 3*(1)
= 4-3
= 1

Therefore, x=1, y = 1.

if y=4x-3,as proclaimed in equation (1)then, in
eq2),
4x-3=4-3x
4x=4-3x+3
4x+3x=7
x=1
if x=1
y=...1

4x-3=4-3x
4x+3x=4+3
7x=7
x=1
