I think most of us will say that we fall in the middle. I know that many of my beliefs tend toward the "conservative" but I do pull some "liberal" beliefs too. I think we need to do away with "republican" and "democrat" because those party lines really arent relivant any more. There are too many issues and too many points of view to really hold to those outdated, archaic ideas that are those parties.

I've been a Republican since 1976 but frankly, I don't recognize my party any more. I signed up for the party of fiscal responsibility, but now my grandkid's grandkids will be paying my generation's debts. Isn't that a form of taxation without representation?

I used to say Democrat, but now I tell them that I am more middle-of-the-road.
