I have always had a short fuse. After a while, I realize that I needed to think long and hard before I opened my mouth,because once you say what you want to say,and usually it was mean and very hurtful things, no matter how sorry I was, I could not take back what I said. So, I now think about what I want to say or do before I do it.

Pause for a few seconds and think how much the cause of anger will still have any value after 10 minutes,10 hours or 10 days. You will realize that everything will be completely forgotten after 10 days. The small pause and and thought over its value at a later period will douse the fire of anger immediately.

when in an argument and you feal like striking walk a way,
leave untill you calm down join a jim with a punching bag
and hit it. walking uses up energy so go for a walk,
