Thanks, finally, my mom and dad are taking me to Florida! I'm 16 and i live in Canada, and during the Christmas holidays were going to Florida for a week for vacation! I'm so glad since I've spent so much time studying and haven't really relaxed.
I really don't know what to check out there except for the Disneyland resort, so please can anyone list some places near the Disneyland resort that are worth seeing and visiting? Since were going residing near Disneyland (because of my sister) we are only limited to the places nearby (100km?)
So please anyone, I need you help.
Thank you in advance.!

Mostly theme parks, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Seaworld, Busch Gardens. I think they will most likely be closed during that time though.
Here's a website about the area:

Hope it helps.

Well, as a Floridian, I will try to think of some fun things to do....
First of all, the area that you are going to visit is a huge tourist spot, so there are tons of things to do. Lots of restaurants, and sites. You have all of the big theme parks, besides Disney, there's Universal Studios, and Seaworld, and Blizzard beach...But there are also lots of restaurants, and shops, and theatres all in the area. There is an upside down house called "Wonderworks" and inside you can do a dinnershow, or play laser tag, and a bunch of other things. You might also want to check out the beach, since that is one of the exciting things about Florida. Of course, since it's Christmas, it will be a big cold. Not cold compared to the north, but cold for what you'd expect in a place like Florida. Have fun!

Disney Universal Studios Sea World Get out of Orlando and spend a day in Tampa.Busch Gardens See a Bucs game really cheap tickets. Maybe go to a Hockey game. Orlando is 45 minutes from Tampa.Lots to do in Orlando but the Theme Parks are kinda pricey.

Disneyland is in California. Disney World is in Florida.
You could go to Cape Canaveral and check out the space center, other than that that part of Florida is pretty boring. At age 16 you might find Disney World rather boring. Should have gone to the Florida Keys or toured parts of the Everglades; much more exciting in my opinion.
If you can go to Sea World.

Yeah Man, BUT Disneyland,,ISN'T NEAR ANY BEACH. You can drive east a little ways,,to one of the best kept (kinda) secrets COCOA BEACH,FLA while you'r there you can see all the SPACE PROGRAM stuff. (just a few miles from there) OR you can Trek over to TAMPA-ST PETE-CLEARWATER that's only about 70 miles. THAT'S WHERE THE ACTION IS if you're over 14,,if you're still a little COOKIE CRUNCHER Disney will be enough. Most people (after they LEARN) Fly into ST PETE--CLEARWATER airport (cheaper) Then they can enjoy all of the area. Drive over to Disney then come back to the beaches. WHEN IN DOUBT,,LET IT ALL HANG OUT.
