The Packers have the most championships of any team in history.

Today, the Packers have a quarterback that has won more games than any other quarterback in history. Of course, he holds just about all other records for quarterbacks too.

Today, they are 8-1 and are a legitimate contender for the superbowl. With a very good defense the #1 passing offense and newfound running game, they may be the best NFC team. I think they have a chance to win the superbowl if they make it that far. Defense goes a long way to winning championships. Add an offense that makes few mistakes and puts up points, and this is an elite team.

They are the only team not owned by a single owner. They are owned by the fans. How can you not love that? This is the only professional team made for fans.

God bless America.

My favorite American team is the Green Bay Packer football team.

anybody that doesnt say the 85 bears is just being a homer. I'm a huge pats fans and they have had some great teams lately but none compare to the dominance that was the 85 bears. if the pats are fortunate enought to actaully go undefeated or maybe just have one loss this year then they can join the coversation but there is much football still to play.

BTW, the 72 dolphins literally only played two teams with winning records. the combined winning percentage of their opponents that season was 40%.

I would say the Patriots team that won like 24 in a row?

The best American football team ever was the 1995 Nebraska Corhuskers. I'm a Crimson Tide fanatic, but the 95 Huskers were the most organized, lethal American football team ever assembled.

The 1959 Syracuse team was awesome as well. Outscored teams by a total of 390-59. 5 shutouts and only allowed 193 total rushing yards in 10 games. One of only two schools to lead the NCAA in seven statistical categories (points, yards gained, rushing yards, touchdown passes, first downs, yards given up, rushng yards given up). They set a record for the ratio of yards gained to given up that will never be broken, (451-96). Their rushing defense was the second best ever (19.3). Their opponents played 65 major college teams and only two of them beat SU's opponents by more than SU did. And SU beat both of them, (Penn State and Pittsburgh).

Packers of the 60s; Steelers of the 70s; 49ers of the 80s; Cowboys of the 90s. Maybe the Patriots of the 00s if they win this year and maybe next year.

The early 90's Dallas Cowboys were two deep at every postion. There has never been a team like that one. If free agency and the salary cap hadn't kicked in right then, they probably win 5-6 straight Super Bowls. They were the best ever.

Just by most super bowl appearances, has to be the Cowboys
Just by most super bowl wins has the be (tie) Cowboys and Niners.
Don't get me wrong there have been a lot of great teams, but you need to tighten the criteria when asking a Q like that.
