A good husband, it's nice that your husband can provide for you but that doesn't necessarily mean happiness. To me, I could live in the smallest house and have nothing...but have a husband who is a good man come home to me, that is happiness. I have people in my family who there husband is a great provider but it's not a happy marriage. When I see that I'm blessed with what I have and that is a good husband.

I feel I understand the underlying meaning in this question.

I too am married, but that doesn't mean I have a good husband or provider .. so do you stay cause he provides well? Or go to find someone you deserve ..

Hard question, only you can answer .. but it is true a good husband doesn't even question being the provider and is usually a good one.

A good husband. I don't think that it is my husbands job to provide for me. I think that it is our job to provide for our family.

I have to agree that the two go hand in hand. I'd rather have a good husband, but you see, my husband tends to show me he loves me by taking care of me. Which means being a good provider.

If you can't have both, then I'd choose a good provider. Becaue you can live with that. A good husband is great and everything, but he won't pay the bills and therefore won't be a good husband because he doesn't provide you with a sense of security. Give me a guy who can take care of me (not my wants, but at the very least my physical needs) any day over a guy who wants to sit and listen to my feelings! Sorry...I'm a realist!!!
