Are you asking why females have an easier time learning to swim than males? If so, it's partly due to physical differences. Females' hips generally float better than males', and this helps to maintain good body position, which is probably the most important skill when learning to swim.

Also, little girls tend to be more concerned with swimming "pretty," while little boys usually want to swim fast. When learning to swim, swimming "pretty" is much more beneficial than swimming fast.

Once they reach puberty, though, the guys will generally be faster swimmers because of their strength, particularly in the upper body.

What, you mean why do they learn how to swim faster? I don't know that thats true. Any proof? I learned pretty fast as a little kid.

where would you get that idea, no women I know can swim well at all.but that's just me.There should be no difference in the ability
