They are working on a star wars tv programs, which seem to be over due...
The computer-animated Star Wars series is currently in pre-production, with scripts in development and animation tests underway. That show, which is to be set during the Clone Wars, should begin airing in the fall of 2007.
The second series, a live-action show, will be composed of one-hour episodes, with 100 hours of story initially charted. The story takes place after Revenge of the Sith but before A New Hope. No timeframe for production or airing has been officially mentioned yet.

Got to agree with JF on this one. The "A guy ran into Lucas on a beach" story that markwillstar mentions is a complete and total fraud and lie. Just more of SuperShadow's many, many demented delusions ... 99.9% of the stuff he posts on his site is complete and total lies ... the man is certifiable. Jon_mac_usa is pretty much right on with his answer so I'm not going to repeat it. If you want "real" info on what's going on in the Star Wars world check out theforce.net or starwars.com ...

I'm not much into the gaming aspect of Star Wars so you're probably right about that. I do want to caution you and everybody else about taking things you find on wikipedia as "fact". Sadly that site has turned into a cess pool of false info and lies ... don't get me wrong, it's still a great site for info but in the past couple years a lot of the info has been shown to be "tainted"

actually there might (might) be some truth to that.
about 2 years ago i heard something that might fit what you heard.
a guy was on a beach and ran into George Lucas. this happened soon after Ep 3 came out.
he asked Lucas if he was really done with Star Wars.
Lucas said at the time that he was at least for the time being.
the guy asked him if he did another would it be a sequel or a prequel.
Lucas said that one thing he might consider someday:
800 years before Ep 1 a young Yoda helps win the Sith Wars.
could be interesting.

Yeah they are but the movie will not be about either one of the Skywalkers.It would be about other Jedi like Yoda.

they have planned to do another trilogy for the future (around 2012 i heard). it will deal with the events after return of the jedi and will be called episodes 7,8 and 9. read about it at supershadow.com

please don't believe what you hear...this has been happening for 30 years... anything star wars related is never known until release (think about it, you must be a fan). Not trying for "best answer", just give it some thought.
