Alot of guys are like that, they only give when they're obligated. It shouldn't take drastic measures for him to come across as a man. Don't be deceived, just because he's your hubby, that doesn't make him a man. He needs to step up to the plate.

No, you're right. If he has to go into your purse without telling you to get it, likely HE knows he's wrong too. If you've already spoken to him and asked him to stop and he hasn't, unfortunately, the only thing left to do is hide your cash and it's a shame that you'd have to do that in your own home to keep your husband from spending all your money. Most financial advisors tell married couples to have a joint account where both people contribute to a household fund and then they should also have their own indvidual accounts that the spouse doesn't have access to, but if he'd plunder your purse, likely he'd empty out the household fund too. Perhaps you should talk to a marriage counselor.

You have a husband who asks you for money? My god, you married a tight wad! My husband wouldnt ever ask me for a penny, he always gives me money for shopping, clothes, etc. A man asking a woman for money is a man who lacks class and dignity, I think ya married a man with no class, sorry but I call it as I see it. And didnt you see the red flags waving before marrying him? You know women really need to take a long look at the guy with whom their getting ready to marry prior to the wedding day, you married a man who isnt really a man at all, only a little boy would ask his woman for money.

If you make more money than he does, then the answer should be obvious. Or maybe he thinks that you manage your money better than he does, and therefore asks you for money since he knows you have it to spare.

I think you should straight ask him politely why he needs money on every occasion he asks for money and why he does not have it. This is to keep up the sense of accountability.

This requires alot more info to get a good solid answer. Make sure he is not overspending somewhere (gambling, porn, etc) and if he is hiding it in an account, make sure your name is on it, and that you get your portion providing something happens.
