1m=100cm
1cm=10mm
so, therefore 1mm=0.001m

if you would like to show the solution, here it is:

1mm*(1cm/10mm)*(1m/100cm)= .001m

while in the process, the units "mm" & "cm" will get eliminated

1m=100cm
1cm=10mm

1mm*1cm/10mm*1m/100cm= .001m

you get it? cancel mm. then cm so whats left is m.
