Draw an Euler diagram and it will be clear:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euler_diagram

Draw a box and within the box a circle to represent the set B. Then, within the set B draw a smaller circle to represent set A (A ⊂ B is what means that the circle representing A lies entirely within the circle representing B)

So now, what area represents complement of A and which represents complement of B?
