I have dated (and married) almost exclusively stocky, intelligent guys with musical talent, who are politically active, and who are passionate about causes that really matter to them.
I just described my dad.
I didn't set out to do that, but I did and it's perfectly natural. Thankfully, I have a great relationship with my awesome dad so accidentally finding myself with versions of him is a pretty good thing.

Realize what is was about your ex that you could not and did not deal with, that you are now dealing with in your husband. Maybe you liked somethings about your ex, he just didn't bring them to the table well. Consider your husband an upgrade of what is attractive to you. Try to keep them apart though, you don't want them becoming BFF's. ;), 'cause they both could become your ex......

Nothing because my husband is like my first true love, to a T!!
Very scary, but I love my hubby more than anything the EX could do/give/say to or for me.
Hubby is all that matters!! VOWS!!?? remember??

Well usually we are attracted to a certain type of person. So I am sure it happens often. I know my dad, and my step dad look like they could be brothers, and they both use their middle names instead of their first, so they are both Keith. Leon Keith, and Ernest Keith.

I'd realize there was a pattern and I'd seek help and flee if the ex was a horrible person...

Nothing, if you love your husband. But since you asked, its obvious that you are thinking about it. Sounds like you have some thinking to do

i wouldn't "do" anything. i married my husband, so there must be something that i was ready for now, that i wasn't ready for then with the ex. if they are the "same", then you have no need to go doing something stupid with the ex.
