There is a whole list of things to do. Its an actual routine. When to give misinformation and when to tell the truth. Its a game. Thats why american units with valuable intel. and a high probablity of being captured go thru torture drills.

(a) waterboarding is not the same as Chinese water torture.

(b) US people now face waterboarding if captured? Seems like a real yawner, since they've faced having their head sawed off with a dull carving knife since the start of this war.

What would I do? Scream and pray, I guess. Who can know until they actually face it?

"waterboarding" is NOT "Chinese water torture"...

They are two completely different things. Where did you come up with that falacy? Is it because you believe that Waterboarding is torture and since the phrase, "Chinese Water Torture" has the word "torture" in it, you ASSUMED they were the same?

Do a fact-check next time!

Give them what they want to know. Then when free (through the illegal process or escape) make the government pay for there acts. And I don't mean in a court of law.

Freedom is not free

No one can say for sure unless they've gone through it. Waterboarding is pretty scary. What I'd LIKE to think, is that I'd hold out pretty long, but you never know.

I have abso-freakin'-lutely no idea what I would do.
None... haven't experienced it.
I do know that when I am experiencing extreme physical pain, I tend to want to kill myself to end it.
Not sure what torture would do to my decisions.. or how much my decisions would impact what actually got done... I haven't ever experienced real torture..

after bing grabbed by a snatch squad at a protest I once was repeatedly pepper sprayed with my hands cuffed behind my back laying on he ground while a cop screamed in my ear "how'd you find out about it"... for what had to be a couple of hours...
I think I handled it pretty well...

Torture of many forms has been very common place in US jails for years upon years BTW...

Yes because before we did that there were no Americans being tortured. And if given the choice of waterboarding or our enemies favorite form of torture, beheading I will gladly take the waterboarding

And I would tell them my name, rank and SS # as instructed to do.

This question just smells of ignorance.

I feel embarrassed for you if you think water-boarding and Chinese water torture are the same thing.

Oh, and by the way. The US might water-board it's prisoners, however it does not behead them.

By your logic we should just murder them.... I mean really if they are allowed to behead our men.,,, why don't we just clear the cells in Gitmo now.
