For me also Final fantasy series ( best is Final fantasy VII ) and the second after Final fantasy series was Legend of The Dragoon for PS one.
For online gaming i choose Ragnarok Online

my top favorites are god of war 1 and 2 and also age of empires because of the stuff your learning while playing the game. i learned a lot of the stories and all the Greek gods. although the learning isn't the most IMPORTANT aspect in god of war you relentlessly kill things in such brutal ways that just satisfies the imagination of any gamer. the storyline is vivid and flows very well..... my top favorites are kingdom hearts one and two. final fantasy X was fantastic as well. both have excellent graphics and can jerk a few tears at the end because of how sad it ends up. (of course i won't ruin it) if your looking for shooters look for gears of war and halo one and two of course. but those are more exposed than say, unreal tournament and something like that.
age of empires as i forgot to mention is basically based upon history of any time period whether it be the Myans the romans or the colonists in the 1700's getting independence from the brits. it teaches history very well and gives you a strategy like experience through out the whole game. its such an absorbing game. i could go on and on about it but why when you could e-mail me?

The Final Fantasy games were good.
Goldensun was a favorite with me. Kingdom Hearts was amazing.
You can't say 'whats the best' because its nearly impossible to say... For me at least... they made so many good games...
But if I must say... the all time best is Super Mario 3... at any age people still love that old game!

Super Smash Bros. Melee would be #1.
I guess the runner-ups are Final Fantasy Tactics, Chrono Trigger, Castlevania SOTN, and Super Metroid.

Well pokemon Stadium for the N64 was really fun, but I'd have to pick either Pokemon Red, Green, Blue, or Yellow for the GameBoy (Regular, Color, Advanced, or SP). The original 151 were the best.

For me, the greatest game ever made is either Shadow of the Colossus, the Metal Gear Solid series, or the God of War series.

I'd have to pick Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time for the N64. This game was revolutionary for its time with beautiful graphics, great controls, and just plain fun gameplay.

Zelda 64, shenmue, pokemon gold/silver, FF10, super smash bros melee, halo 3, goldeneye, and I just loved grandia 2 for the dreamcast.. Iv'e owned every sytem starting with the PS1 I know my games...
