Talk to grad students at the Psych program you want to get your PhD from. Do not talk to professors until you have spoken to the grad students first. I just graduated from UCLA, and know that they have a systematic way of discouraging and weeding out potential psych students. Talk to a few students so you get a general idea. Good luck!

Well psychology is a science, so you'll probably have to take lots of science classes...
But it's a soft science, so probably not to many math classes.
Major in what you love! Don't bother with caring about whether it's going to be hard, do what you're passionate about!

If you are just starting you Bachelors don't sweat the PHD requirements.
Study what you enjoy doing. Psychology is a good basis for many career paths.

There is math involved. And there's science too. It's all easy enough.

do what you love. thats what i suggest. and if it is psychology you love, then pursue it, and dont worry about what tests, and classes you will have to take. If you do, and dont want to go through ALL of that, you can always become a councelor..

just pick something that you would love to do teh rest of your life, becuase in most cases, you will be, untill you retire.
