Does anyone have an tips on interviewing people that have not necessarily been scheduled for an interview. Like I had to go to the flea market and ask people questions. I was just wondering for the next time what a good way to go about it is.

That's never easy, and everyone in the business has done it. It's a little easier with a print interview than TV; people run the other way when they see a camera.

Go up to people, politely introduce yourself, and ask if you can present them with some questions. It's much better to get someone alone; don't interview groups. Not only is confusing when you try to figure out who is talking later, but you'll get better answers one on one.
