My high school GPA is roughly a 3.8 and my SAT score was a 1240 out of 1600 (670-Math 570-English). I have a decent amount of community service and am involved in a lot of sports and extra circular activities. Show how are my chances?

Your SAT score is slightly below average but you're on par for the rest. Pretty good chance if you're a New York resident.

I think you have a good chance. SUNY Binghampton isnt that selective and I think you have the GPA and the SAT score for it. The community service hours and the extra circular activities really do help and it shows that you can serve your community, participate in sports while maintaining good grades.

I dont know if your school is on their list, but check out LargeEnvelope.com

they have over 1000 admissions mentors to choose from and you can choose a mentor from a different school than you plan on attending..
