Which one will last longer? Firebird (The 3.4 V-6 is an icon in the auto industry.
Which one has better acceleration? Taurus
Which one has better handling? Firebird, as long as it has the sport suspension
Which one is more fun and is the best bang for your buck?!?!?! Firebird, as long as you don't expect to win street races with a V-6. (But with the Firebird you could swap out the 3.4 and drop in a Buick V-6 turbocharged unit from a Grand National or a GNX. THEN you'd win some races.)
The Taurus SHO has an unusual engine engine. It may scream off the line, but if anything goes bad, parts are scarce and expensive.
