Thanks atleast someone knows about her corrupt past and no she was not set up. The country loved her and had good expectations for her. Musharrf is an angel infront of her and her Mafiaso husband Zardari. Zardari was known as Mr ten percent since he took 10 percent of profits from a lot of businesses as bribe.
Corruption charges against Benazir were proven. It was not really proven if she or her husband were behind the assasination of her brother.
Musharraf is a dictator but he is an angel infront of Benazir and her criminal husband.

Benazir Bhutto knows everything about Mushrraf and there is an authority for the comments.

I guess corrupt financial dealings are more of an ethical failing.

Given that he is a dictator, do you think she may actually have been set up ? Seems like a fair bet to me !

I can't see that someone who is putting her life in imminent danger to try to secure the democracy of her country would be morally base enough to be materialy dishonest....

She believes in constitutional democracy and in the rule of law. Engage in corruption she might have, but that doesn't undermine her legacy as a democrat (small "d").
