Who has the best nba name?

I personally think the Rockets have the best name becuz of their back ground of the City Houston home of nasa(Astros,Comets) but the Rockets have bad logos though.(im not a Rockets fan). tell me the name you think is the best not your favorite team

The Jazz was good name when they were in New Orleans. Now I would say the Portland Trailblazers

boston celtics have a name that befits their town.
san antonio spurs and dallas mavericks because of the old west.
toronto raptors that's a cool one.
detroit pistons fits the bill. i also think the new logo is quite nice.
seattle supersonics. doesn't have anything to do with the city but it does roll off the tongue quite nicely as oppose to oklahoma supersonics.
phoenix suns is quite appropriate especially during the summer.


worst team name

new york knicks. if you say it just like that, its fine. but if you mention it by its full name - new york knickerbockers - they sound like a team of high school cheerleaders.
