i set a Red sox background for my wallpaper,in a few weeks its gone and its all silver now.to be specific the backround is plain gray now.i do believe a virus affected it,i cleaned viruses from my laptop and try to set another wallpaper,however it did not work.and when i turn off my laptop for 3 seconds i saw the wallpaper i wanted to be set to.anyone know the problem?

Hi. Must be a Yankees fan! Try to find the image you want and reset your wallpaper. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/wallpaper/ for example.

It may not be virus but the default setting in your laptop.
You need to go to Start -> Control -> Display->Desktop->Browsing-> your wallpaper -> click apply -> click OK
