I know your first thought is that's impossible.....but I've known two people that didn't. One was a gun shot wound and the other, was born with part of their intestines on the outside.

ya. guy in my neighorhood. He had astomach surgery and it disappeared! I was about 10 years old and was fascinated that it could just be taken away!

There are some, who because of surgery or other traumatic incident do not have a bellybutton. There are none who were born who did not have an umbilical cord, which is what forms a bellybutton (with the exception of a Siamese Twin after separation. In these cases, it is possible for two to share a single umbilicus.)

Alfred Hitchcock didn't have a belly button. ... he had no belly button but he did have a faint scar where one should be. He had surgery and they cut into that area. They didn't bother reconstructing it after the surgery as they most probably would now. By the way, you're right about babies born with oomphaloceles and gastroschesises. You have to "make" a belly button.

A friend had a tummy tuck gone bad. She had to have new one fashioned. It kind of looked like a cork yam sort of thing. And it wasn't in the right area... Weird.

Yes, one of my friends from high school doesn't. She had a surgery when she was two, and the doctors went inside it to perform it. Afterwards,they just closed it up and never reconstructd one.

No I don't know anyone without a belly button. I've known people that have golf ball sized belly buttons. I think that's just as creepy.

My brother doesn't have one.He had a bad hernia opperation back in the 1960's.It looks kinda weird.He has a fold but no belly button.

I knew someone that didnt have one, they were born with some kind of stomach problem as well, but I'm not sure what.
