I just got my period about two weeks/ two weeks and a half and it came back to me. I'm thirteen and i'm still irregular. Is this normal ? My period doesn't happen this often. I asked my mom and she didn't know. I'm a little scared because someone told me something about cervical cancer .. i don't know if thats true or not..

Okay Q1 - yes, it can be as irregular as it wants for the first 2-3 years. If you want it regular, you have to get on the birth control pill.

Q2 - The dr.s don't recommend a pap smear and yearly exam until you turn 18 or when you become sexually active. That means that the chances of you getting cervical cancer before that time are almost unheard of. Of course, there is that weird case, like the little girl born with 1/2 a twin attached to her...but it's not going to be you. Don't worry about cervical cancer until you get a bad pap smear.

Don't worry so much. You're fine. Don't start sex until you're ready (after high school) and when you do, you make that guy wear a condom or tell him to go take a cold shower (code for no sex). No oral sex unless you're in a long-term committed loving relationship. Be safe!!

You answered you self in your own question. You are 13 and still IRREGULAR. You period/hormones need a few years to even out. dont worry, and dont turn into a hypochondriac. Its not cervical cancer.
