I'm not talking about plastic surgeons. It seems they can get away with it but how about the other doctors in the medical specialty or even hospitals? I don't see much advertising like I see of attorneys or ambulance chasers.

Share some insight if anyone knows.

Thanks

They do advertise but not on public TV and such. Insurance is a big item these days so it makes seance to woe them as they are the ones that will pay the bill. Be sure to read the policies very well and you will see why.

They also advertise in offering to do free service in a case where they will get a lot of media coverage.

Most hospitals have a hard time making room for all the patience now so advertising to the public would not be of help.

There are competing hospitals in my town, and they do advertise. They do some TV ads, some magazine ads, and lots of sponsorships of races and events. They seem to especially want people with heart problems and expectant mothers.

They dont have to advertise. The hospitals know they will be needed until humans cease to exist on the face of this lonely planet.

Where else will people go when they are sick or injured.

Where do you live? In Louisiana, hospitals, doctors, and specialists advertise all over the place. Pretty high-priced ads, too.
