The major thing about early decision is that it is much easier to get into the school, because you are telling the school you are for sure going to go to that school. Which would probably out weigh the effects of how you feel your essay is. Another point is that why wouldn't your essay be good for both early and regular. Just work hard on it and get a teacher or friend in college to help correct and give you pointers.

great essay in regular decision. Colleges do not fill up right away, and are more concerned with those who take the time to make sure they are impressing the colleges.
