It depends on what test you took. The biggest problem with IQ tests is that they measure certain IQ's quite well, and they measure high and low IQ's poorly. Thus, your 166 likely means only that you have a substantially above average IQ, not precisely how much above average you are. You could be gifted or you could be Einstein.
One thing to consider about IQ is exactly what you do with it. An unutilized IQ is a lot like having tools that never come out of the tool box; neither does you any good. If you have an IQ of 166 and you are working at McDonald's, then your IQ is doing you no good. If you are really that intelligent, put your intelligence to some useful purpose. Become a scientist or engineer or researcher, a mathematician or a professional of some kind.
Choose to use what you have wisely.
Good luck!

An IQ test measures your reasoning ability. If everyone took an IQ test and everyone's score was plotted on a chart, the result would be a bell-shaped curve. The center part ("the mean") of the curve would be 100. Basically, a normal score is 1 standard deviation above and below the mean. The mean is 100 - and a standard deviation is 15 points. So normal intelligence is 85 - 115. If a person scores above 115 they are considered "gifted." Here are the IQ test results and the different scores:
Mildly Gifted -- 115 to 129
Moderately Gifted -- 130 to 144
Highly Gifted -- 145 to 159
Exceptionally Gifted -- 160 to 179
Profoundly Gifted -- 180
If you took an IQ test, that was administered by a reputable person (like your school - NOT AN ONLINE TEST), I'd say that you are exceptionally gifted. When I was your age, I scored as being moderately gifted. I haven't tested again, but expect that I still fall within the same range. Here is a good description:
http://giftedkids.about.com/od/gifted101/qt/IQ_scores.htm
So, what does being gifted mean? Here is an article that might be a good starting point.
http://giftedkids.about.com/od/gifted101/p/gifteddef.htm
There are many others. One key is to appreciate your own giftedness, without letting it overshadow the other areas of your life. So, while you are gifted and that means that you look at things differently and learn more easily, you'll also want to still develop other parts of your life as you grow - and also try to act on your innate talent. (It is easy to just think that you are gifted - but not have anything to show for it).
Also, if you talk about being gifted, smart, or having a high IQ, there are going to be people who will shoot you down (as you can see from some of the answers here). One of the things that you'll have to learn how to do, is to be comfortable with being smart, while at the same time, deflecting a lot of criticism. It is difficult; but you'll learn how to do it. A lot of it will be demonstrating humility (so people won't feel threatened) and developing a thick skin.
But don't worry about that - try use your abilities to do some good things in this world. Gifted children and adults are often quite altruistic; I'm not saying that you must be this way -- but there are many contributions that you can make to the world. Enjoy the way that God made you - even at this early age. It is a wonderful gift, but also a wonderful responsibility as well.
All the best - C

It means that you took a version of an online IQ Test designed by psychologists with the program itself programmed by programmers(obviously) and got a bunch of dots connected in a way that formed the so-called number we know as 166, projected through the computer monitor which is connected to the CPU where information is sent and received using electricity and waves which are all possible through the use of wires connecting and inserted into a socket to complete the circuit.
In short, it doesn't mean much. Just that you're good at taking these tests.. you may say you haven't guessed.. but if you really think about it.. sometimes when you think something's right and it isn't.. you wouldn't know.. and vice versa. Besides, do you really want to be "evaluated"??? By a NUMBER?!
Who are you? What do you want to do with your life? That's what you should be asking, little one. Grow up, learn to support yourself and your family, and live a good life.
I suggest you go read my profile too. Don't let others define you, and never let a machine or nonexistent dots define you. You define yourself.
The test should've told you what it is.. so my guess is you're simply trying to show off, without knowing that the joke's on you.

IQ exams are designed so as that the common is precisely one hundred. one hundred forty four is an suitable score. in fact something over a hundred thirty could be seen "genius" intelligence. besides the undeniable fact that, a number of exams which you hit upon on line are actually not actual IQ exams and many times have a median a ways greater than one hundred. i'd advise you complete a number of previously you actual declare this to be your IQ score. in case you will hit upon an offline try than that's plenty greater probably to be actual. seek for one that is formally acknowledged by using Mensa.

You are highly intelligent. The average IQ is 90 - 100. A super genius IQ is above 200, but that's nearly impossible.

It means that you're pretty good at taking IQ tests.
If only that was actually useful in life.
