Everyone is always talking about women being the romantic ones. Do men get tired of not being considered romantic??
What do you think would help as far as getting rid of the bad rep you have, for no romantic 'soul'?
And what are your ideas of the perfect, romantic evening?

My hubby says.....
I had it all set up one year for my wife's birthday (but the butthead boss scheduled me anyway, even though I'd asked for the day off months in advance...)
I'd rented a tuxedo, gotten her a dress, and I was going to have a limo come pick us up. I'd scheduled a day at a day spa for her.
I'd made reservation at one of the really nice restaurants in town.
We were going to go to a movie- one she'd been wanting to watch for a while.
There was also a formal dance (uh, don't remember where, but...) and I was going to take her there- let her be the best-dressed woman there....
But like I said- the boss was a butt and scheduled me for that day. I was an assistant manager, and either I was going to be there or the store wouldn't be open... I REALLY thought about calling in sick that day!!!!...
I think he SHOULDA called in sick. The general manager was always doing junk like that- he didn't like my husband, but corporate had put the two together, and they had to deal....

Everytime we try being romantic the girl trods all over us and ends up thinking we must be gay.

You have no idea! i am about 4x as romantic as my gf and somehow women are more romantic!
